A central component of Lidl's sustainability strategy in purchasing is to make raw material supply chains socially and environmentally conscious. Therefore, our commitment aims to reduce the negative environmental and social impact of our input products - from cultivation to harvesting and further processing to transport to the stores - as far as possible. Specifically, we are committed to making the procurement of raw materials defined as critical more sustainable by the end of fiscal 2025. Collaborating with certified suppliers and the labeling organizations, using certified production sites, and expanding our product range to include labeled products are key instruments for addressing social and environmental risks in the supply chain. In the following, you will therefore find detailed information on which of our requirements apply precisely to your product groups in order to contribute to our common goal of more socially and environmentally conscious raw material supply chains.
